A Happy Haunted Journey: From Running Around Walt Disney World to runDisney, October 2013
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4
2013 is the year I took control, and one of my biggest accomplishments this year was doing my very first 5K!! This was, of course, a runDisney event, and I am so grateful for the awesome camaraderie both before, during and after a runDisney weekend. This girl who never thought she’d walk, jog or run just for the hell of it is now a runDisney convert!
Fun and Fancy Free: Walt Disney World August 2012
My attempt at live blogging during a kid-free (or at least it started that way) trip to the World to frolic with Florida friends! I only got a couple days in before the fun and exhaustion of Disney World took over, so the rest was completed from home!
Join us as we stretch our fall break to enjoy fall in Disney World! In addition to the usuals, Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, we also enjoyed two great deluxe resorts, the Wilderness Lodge and Polynesian and both water parks. Be sure to check out the video trip report, too!!!
Take a video trip with us to the Happiest Place on Earth! To celebrate HBelle and Stitchy-poo’s 2011 birthdays, we road tripped to California. And, really, for Disney nerds like us, no Cali trip would be complete without a visit to Disneyland! It was a great stroll down memory lane for me, and a wonderful first trip to Walt’s park for the kids!
Fall into our first fall trip to Disney World! In addition to all four parks, we explored two new resorts, Saratoga Springs and the Treehouse Villas, and visited an old favorite, the Beach Club. We enjoyed the Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival for the first time and loved Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party so much we went twice!
Love the Disney characters?? We do, too! In fact, it’s one of our favorite things about Disney World! Check out a three part look at all the characters we met during our fall 2009 trip to the World.
Not long after the kids’ first trip to Disney World, I was able to start planning another trip!! Exactly six months after we departed Disney, we were headed back to the Most Magical Place on Earth!! We tried two resorts, Shades of Green and the Yacht Club, and visited all four parks. Our family also got to be part of the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade taping and experienced our first Very Merry Christmas Party.
The kids’ first trip to Disney World!! This was an absolutely amazing trip! It was full of firsts for the entire family. We enjoyed a week at the Polynesian, visited all four parks and had a great time at the short-lived Pirate and Princess Party. We fell in love, and the rest is history…
