Port Orleans Resort Riverside is no doubt a fan favorite resort featuring plenty of recreation, hundreds of rooms and access to Disney Springs via the beautiful Sassagoula River, but did you know it was also home to a wonderful table service restaurant? This casual spot is next to the ever popular River Roost Lounge featuring Yeehaw Bob and features southern hospitality and fare at its Disney finest.
The dining rooms are small, so there walk up availability can be scarce. Be sure to grab a reservation to guarantee a spot. Even then, there can be a bit of a wait during the more popular dinner hours (think 6:00-8:00 P.M.ish).
The Food
Bayou bites and NoLA nods are all over the menu. We enjoyed everything we’ve had here over the years, but we highly recommend the southern style options.

Riverside guests, definitely make time here for a dinner simply due to convenience and yumminess, but if you have your own transportation or have been wanting to check out a new resort, make the trek over to Boatwright’s! Before or after dinner, check out the gorgeous grounds or even grab a carriage ride.
