WDW Tony's Town Square with Magic, Memories, Mayhem

Welcome aboard the Magic, Memories, Mayhem. My name is Skipper Jess, and I’ll be your skipper for…as far as we get! Based on my last trip, that may not be too far. But then, you did buy one-way tickets, didn’t you?

I’ll be honest, I avoided Skipper Canteen for a couple years after opening due to a review from a friend. Not so much avoided, but I never sought it out. I always tell my guests to trust their instincts and form their own opinions, and I should have done the same.

On a whim, the kidlets and I snagged a walk up, and dinner was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was fun, the staff was terribly punny and the experience was truly Disney. We will most definitely be back with the rest of the fam!

The Menu

The choices here are fantastic! Exotic enough to feel like you truly are on a jungle cruise, albeit a Disney one, but still safe enough that you’re happy to try out a few things besides burgers and nuggets.

The Verdict

If you’re a Jungle Cruise fan this is a no-brainer. It’s like a dinner show version of the ride plus really good food. You could probably take it or leave it if you’re not a Jungle Cruise junkie, but I think it’s a really nice, solid option among “theme park fare” available at Magic Kingdom.

If you enjoy your Skipper Canteen experience, again, I’m Skipper Jess, and I hope you’ve had a lovely time on the Magic, Memories, Mayhem. If you don’t, then I’m Kevin and this has been it’s a small world.
