Would we return?: Yes. It’s still a favorite for a relaxed meal with great food.
Tucked in the bottom corner of Epcot’s Canada, le cellier of this manor is home to one of the favorite steak houses at Walt Disney World, Le Cellier. A crowd favorite for its filet, pretzel rolls and beer cheese soup, this pick is a lovely spot to escape the overstimulation of the crowds.
Once upon a time, this was one of the toughest tickets in town, but these days you can often find a reservation at Le Cellier even on the day of. It had been quite a few years since we’d had the full version (we often pop over to Canada during Food and Wine Fest to grab the marketplace option), so I decided it was time for another visit with my steak loving kidlets. I’m so glad we did, as the food was still delicious, and our server, Ben, was exceedingly nice and just the picture of Canadian friendliness.
The Scene
Le Cellier feels like a hidden cellar tucked beneath the Canada Pavilion, with warm lighting, stone details and a cozy, intimate dining room. It’s a noticeable contrast to the energy of Epcot outside its doors.
This isn’t a restaurant built around big Disney spectacle or over-the-top theming. Instead, it offers a comfortable, classic steakhouse feel — the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy a meal and have an actual conversation.
The Food
Although the menu has changed over the years, Le Cellier remains a solid steakhouse offering with Canadian-inspired touches.
The signature dishes are still the standouts, with favorites like the filet, pretzel bread and cheddar cheese soup continuing to make this a popular choice for steak lovers.
Our Take
As I mentioned, it’s still a yes for us! A lot has changed at Disney World over the last few years, but this is comfy, familiar and warm. It’s not overly themed or in your face Disney, but if you’re looking for good food and a calm atmosphere, this is your place.
