Really, one day I’ll get an actual posting schedule.  It’s been a busy summer for the MMM family, but I have so much I want to share here on the blog.  Hopefully soon I’ll be able to streamline all the “stuff” that comes along with, uh, life.  Haha!

So, now the fun stuff!  I am SUPER excited to get these pictures up on the site because I’ve had so many people asking about them.  On my Walt Disney World Agent Education Program back in June, we got the chance to tour the Disney Dream.  This was my first time to see this fantastic ship, and I was kind of ridiculously giddy.  I had my camera charged and ready to roll, but we were on a tight schedule, so excuse some of the pictures.  There’s blur, there’s minimal (if any) composition and I really didn’t have the time to play with manual settings.  There was so much I wanted to capture, and I came away with hundreds of pictures from our few hours on board.

These posts will be a bit different in that I’m really going to let the pictures do the talking.  I’ll interject captions here and there, but, frankly, if I were to describe everything, we’d be scrolling for days.  So, if you have any questions about anything you see here, please comment or contact me!  I’m pumped about the Dream and Disney Cruise Line, so let’s chat!

Update May 2018: This post has just been begging for a sprucing up, so that’s just what we’ve done! In addition to cleaning up a bit, we’ve also added new pictures taken on our own personal voyages on the Disney Dream. Even better, we’ve added stateroom pictures to part two of this series. We were asked to not take pictures during our agent training, so I’m excited to get those up for you guys! Enjoy!

Update January 2024: More pictures!!

Disney Cruise Line Terminal at Port Canaveral

The terminal is where the magic begins! Disney, as usual, has done a glorious job making this a bright, happy place to check in, so take a moment and get (even more) excited for your voyage!

The Atrium

Once you step aboard the ship, you’re greeted not only with applause but with the stunning atrium! This is home to the gorgeous grand staircase, guest services and numerous activities throughout your cruise.

Around the Ship

The massive Disney Dream has many places to explore. Here are a few general areas to peruse as you get your sea legs. Then we’ll get into the more specific sections of the ship.

Recreation

While we’re outside, let’s take a look at the pools and recreation options on the Dream. New cruisers will be amazed at the plethora of options you have aboard. I know I was just in awe that all of this was available to us while floating the middle of the sea!!!

Dining

Now that you’ve worked up a little hunger, let’s eat! Food is in no short supply aboard the Dream. You literally have food at your beck and call 24 hours a day. While you have access to included (not free, ’cause ain’t nothin’ free with Disney ;)) room service, here are the places you can bust face with your fellow passengers.

Cabanas Buffet

Animator’s Palate

Enchanted Garden

Royal Palace

Vanellope’s Sweets & Treats

Palo (Adults Only)

Remy (Adults Only)

Adults Only

Speaking of dining, did you know there are two adults only restaurants on the Dream? Palo and Remy offer kid-free dining for dinner and Palo offers brunch, as well. If you think you’ll be overrun with kids everywhere else, fear not! There are actually several adult-exclusive areas on the ship.

Pretty tempting, right? Of course, it is Disney. The kids aren’t left out! Be sure to check out part two for kid-exclusive spaces, as well as stateroom pictures and more!
