Welcome back to another Disney Tip Tuesday, our (kinda) weekly bite-sized blog post offering up a fun tip for visiting your favorite Disney destinations.
This week’s tip is useful at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
Touring the parks on either coast is hard work, especially in those steamy summer months. Staying hydrated is a must-do for all guests as they make their way through Disney. You’re welcome to bring in your own bottled water or bottles for water, but this can get a little heavy at times, especially if you’re trying to travel light.
How to Stay Hydrated in the Parks for Free
- All counter service restaurants and snack stops that have a fountain will have free ice water for guests. They are typically served up in a child-sized cup, but you are welcome to grab more than one. Additionally, we’ve also received larger cups when requested. Your miles may vary.
- Bring a reusable water bottle. There are filling stations located throughout the parks, and you are also able to fill up at any open fountains (Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom; Connections, Sunshine Seasons, Regal Eagle in Epcot; Backlot Express in Hollywood Studios; those are off the top of my head). Just don’t touch the bottle to the fountain. Ew.
- Traditional water fountains are also available throughout the parks.
