Welcome back to another Disney Tip Tuesday, our (kinda) weekly bite-sized blog post offering up a fun tip for visiting your favorite Disney destinations.
This week’s tip takes us to both coasts for those guests who are staying at a Disney owned and operated resort.
Once upon a time, we invited the cousin crew to join us for their first ever trip to the Happiest Place on Earth – Disneyland! Despite the fact that we had weeks, even months to prep, my cousin and I ended up going crazy during Prime Week picking up last minute Disneybounding gear for the trip. Of course, we were leaving mere days after Prime Day, and much of what we ordered wouldn’t make it to us before we left for the golden coast.
Luckily your girl’s knowledge of all things resort stay came in clutch, and I knew just what to do.
How to Ship to Yourself at Your Disney Resort
- Look up the physical address of your resort hotel. This can be found on the Walt Disney World or Disneyland web sites.
- When addressing the package or entering your address online, include the word “Guest” in front of your first name. For example, I would be “Guest Jessica Ma’ilo.”
- You’ll also want to include your arrival date.
- Note that you may not get your package right away. Even if your notifications state delivery, it could take from a few hours to a day for the mail to be sorted and make its way to your resort.
- We had much more luck checking in with the front desk in person as opposed to calling when inquiring about our packages.
And in case you want to see the last minute gear in question…
