Welcome back to another Disney Tip Tuesday, our weekly bite-sized blog post offering up a fun tip for visiting your favorite Disney destinations.
Did you know there’s a way to board some of your favorite attractions (possibly) quicker and get a little me time? Sounds too good to be true, right? Wrong! It’s a thing! Although not always open, these alternate entrances are available at select attractions.
Disney’s single rider lines offer guests cool with boarding solo the chance to possibly (eh, probably) get on the ride faster by filling in the empty seats between odd numbered parties.
A few things to be aware of…
- You will more than likely be separated from your party. We’ve had a couple of instances where we were pulled as a pair or ended up in vehicles near someone, but more often than not, you’re riding solo.
- The wait is not guaranteed to be shorter…but it usually is.
- You sit where you sit and you don’t throw a fit. Your job as a single rider is to fill in where needed, so you don’t get to request specific seating.
If you’re down with all of that, then give it a go! At Walt Disney World, you’ll find single rider lines on Expedition Everest, Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster and Test Track. At Disneyland, board solo on Goofy’s Sky School, Grizzly River Run, Incredicoaster, Web Slingers, Radiator Springs Racers, Matterhorn Bob Sleds and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run.
