Looking to take a celebration to the next level at Disneyland? Raise a glass at Napa Rose while surrounded by warm-hued craftsman décor inspired by the natural beauty of the Golden State. A perfect backdrop for a relaxed yet refined evening, this signature option will please all the senses.
Known for its award-winning wine list, exemplary service and delectable dining, Napa Rose offers both the prix fixe Vintner Menu and a la carte selections. Wine country cuisine that honors California’s rich culinary bounty, artisan farmers and world-famous wine makers are the specialty here.
As this restaurant is the culinary crown jewel of the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort, Disney recommends allowing enough time, at least two hours, to fully enjoy this dining experience.
The Menu
(from Disneyland) Coming from the prestigious Auberge Du Soleil in Napa Valley before opening Napa Rose, Chef Andrew Sutton continues telling the story of the wine country through his food. He continues to astound with fresh, innovative cuisine. Chef Sutton can even create a tasting menu tailored to your preferences.
Since its launch in 2002, Napa Rose has received accolades and awards from a number of esteemed organizations including the Wine Spectator, Zagat, The Southern California Restaurant Writers and the Orange County Business Journal.
More About Napa Rose
The signature restaurant is also home to the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventure. Kids can let their imaginations soar during one-of-a-kind Princess-themed activities. Upon arrival, Disney Princesses are waiting to greet you and share in your hopes and dreams prior to taking a photo on a beautiful private patio. You may take part in storytime with Belle or learn some fierce warrior poses with Mulan. Young adventurers are presented with a special keepsake to take back to your home kingdom to remember your magical morning!
Guests should also note that Napa Rose does adhere to a dress code.
“Examples of appropriate dinner attire include dress pants, jeans in good condition, collared shirts, dress shorts, sweaters, blouses, dresses and lifestyle shoes. We kindly request no hats, swimwear, tank tops, cutoffs or distressed jeans.”
The Verdict
While we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner – food, service and atmosphere – this likely isn’t a repeat for us. We tend to skew towards theming and “Disney only” spots when we’re on a Disney vacation. We might consider the princess breakfast, but dinner is a one and done for us.
Now, if you’d like to invite me to dinner at Napa Rose, I probably wouldn’t turn you down. 😉
