Maui is a huge fan of The Flash. Apparently he’s one of the few, as I could find very few Flash party decorations around the internets and in real life. So, we decided that for his fourth birthday, it would be an all superhero party!
If you’ve poked around any of our other birthday posts, you’ll recognize the venue. I absolutely adore this little house, as it’s the perfect size for our crew and guests. It has climate control, clean bathrooms and tables and chairs all for $40 an hour. Can’t get a much better deal than that when it comes to a party venue.
This time around, we splashed the room with primary colors and lots of onomotopeia! As with Mo’s Frozen party, the first 30 minutes or so were dedicated to guest arrival, running around the playground and grazing the party noshes.
Once everyone had arrived, the kids broke into their party favors which consisted of superhero bracelets, masks and capes. They flew around for a bit before reconvening for cupcakes and gifts.
I love a photo backdrop! These little cityscapes were perfect for the picture spot! Super sisters and super moms!
My favorite part of all the parties is our big group picture! Before the first guest says goodbye, we gather everyone and snap a pic. This is another reason we love the Rotary House. The front porch lends itself perfectly to this tradition.
