With our stay at Old Key West, we’ve officially completed our Disney resort challenge!! We have, for your benefit, of course, stayed at every Disney owned and operated resort at Walt Disney World! Honestly, I don’t know why we waited to long to stay at Old Key West. It was relaxed, spacious, friendly and everything you’d want for a truly relaxing home away from home.

Lobby

A bit different from the other resorts, the lobby has its own dedicated building with the rest of the main area on the other side of an open air walkway. Here you’ll check in, chat with the concierge or relax while waiting for your next adventure.

Shopping

Conch Flats General Store is a smaller gift shop offering resort and DVC merchandise, as well as snacks, toiletries and other sundries.

Deluxe Studios

In these larger studios you’ll find two queen bedsand a kitchenette with small fridge and microwave, a porch or balcony and free wi-fi.

One-Bedroom Villa

This spacious villa offers a king bed in the main bedroom and queen sofa and single chair bed in the living room. In addition to a washer/dryer, the villas include a full kitchen and a split bathroom that features 2 sink areas, a walk-in shower and jacuzzi tub. Free wi-fi, of course, is included.

Old Key West One Bedroom Villa

Two-Bedroom Villa

The two-bedroom offers an additional bedroom with two queen beds and a second full bathroom in addition to the features listed above for the one-bedroom.

Three-Bedroom Villa

The three-bedroom offers an additional bedroom with two double beds, a third and fourth full bathroom and formal dining area in addition to the features as listed above for the one- and two-bedroom villas.

Although full kitchens are a staple at this resort, there are some yummy restaurants to sample at Old Key West!

Olivia’s Cafe

A cult favorite among DVC members and Old Key West diehards, Olivia’s offers brunch and dinner with a homestyle flair and a comfy atmosphere. Guests can also grab a limited menu for pick-up at Goods to Go.

When it comes to quick service, Disney hit this one out of le ballpark! I ate here twice just to try different things because it was so good! This one even garnered a Twitter #CastCompliment from me because the opening team was absolutely killing it in terms of service and efficiency.

Four fun pool areas offer guests spaces to cool off no matter where you’re staying at the resort. In addition, you can enjoy several sport options from basketball and tennis to shuffleboard, bike rentals and more! Community Hall is home to activities from 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M., both free and fee. Round out the day with a campfire and movie under the stars.
