Hollywood and Vine

I’ve always found it a little surprising that a park dedicated to all things entertainment only has one permanent character meal. Seasonal offerings have come and gone over the years (we still miss you, Star Wars Galactic Breakfast!), but if you’re looking to dine with Disney characters at Hollywood Studios, Hollywood & Vine is your go-to.

Breakfast features Disney Junior pals, making it a great choice for the preschool crowd, while lunch and dinner star Minnie and friends in their adorable seasonal outfits. Whether it’s spring, Halloween or the holidays, the costumes and decor change throughout the year, giving repeat visitors something a little different each time.

The Atmosphere

Hollywood & Vine has a classic diner feel with bright colors, a lively atmosphere and an expansive buffet stretching through the center of the restaurant. (Don’t worry if one side looks shorter than the other — the buffet offerings are typically identical, so you won’t miss out by choosing the “wrong” line!)

It can get a little loud, especially during busy meal times, but that’s part of the fun. Between the bustling buffet, upbeat music and characters making their rounds, it feels like a classic Disney character meal with plenty of energy.

PhotoPass

Whether a Disney PhotoPass photographer is available can be a bit hit or miss, but there’s typically a cute backdrop waiting either way. If a photographer isn’t there, don’t be afraid to ask a Cast Member or a fellow guest. They’re usually more than happy to help capture the moment.

The Food

All meals at Hollywood & Vine are all-you-care-to-enjoy buffets. Breakfast is fairly typical Disney breakfast fare, but still tasty. Mickey waffles? Obviously. So I’m always satisfied. 😂 There are plenty of classic breakfast favorites, with lots of carbs to fuel your park day. Lunch and dinner both offer a variety of options with a little leaning into Minnie’s seasonal celebrations through the menu and presentation. We’ve generally been satisfied with the food here, but if I’m being completely honest, the characters are the real reason we return. The buffet is perfectly fine, but Minnie and friends showing up in their adorable seasonal outfits are what make Hollywood & Vine worth adding to your plans.

The Characters

Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Daisy and Goofy dressed in their seasonal outfits, making it a fun option for classic character fans. The costumes change throughout the year, so repeat visitors may get a little extra magic depending on when they visit. Have autograph books and cameras ready!

Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dine

Apparently, I was only interested in dessert… and honestly, I still respect that. 😂

This special event is no longer offered, but we’re keeping it here for posterity because it was such a fun, one-of-a-kind Disney experience. Star Wars fans got a chance to enjoy a themed meal, meet characters and soak in a little extra galactic magic at Hollywood & Vine.
