This family is a big, blended, beautifully diverse bunch and the heartbeat behind everything I do. From everyday mayhem to moments of magic, it all still starts here with the people who made me a mama, a fighter and a full-time dreamer.
Magic, Memories, Mayhem began as my way to make Disney dreams happen for my kids as a single teacher mama. What started as a way to plan affordable trips became a passion and a purpose, creating joy and connection for other families too.
The Sparkle Strong Foundation grew out of a different kind of magic, the kind that strengthens in hospital hallways and among beeping monitors. Our precious Jewels was born with a critical heart defect, and though her time here was far too short, her light continues to guide everything we do. She didn’t just change our lives, she transformed our purpose.
She made us a heart family.
Now through Sparkle Strong, we carry her love forward by supporting other families walking the same uncertain and deeply meaningful road we once did. Every Joybox, every survival kit, every act of kindness carries a piece of her sparkle.
I had stepped away from the classroom to be by Jewels’s hospital bedside and continue to focus on this work during in her memory. Travel planning through Magic, Memories, Mayhem helps keep our lights on, and Sparkle Strong helps light the way for others.
This family is still the heart behind both the mission and the magic, and we’re so grateful you’re here to be part of it.
