After half a dozen voyages with Disney Cruise Line, we finally had the time to take a lengthier cruise and climb aboard the Dream’s sister ship, the Disney Fantasy!

While this post will not be quite as robust as the Disney Dream photo tour, (I was in full vacation brain as opposed to being on an agent training trip), I hope it will give you a magical of glimpse of all of the wonderful moments to be had aboard the Fantasy.

Disney Cruise Line Terminal at Port Canaveral

The terminal is where the magic begins! Disney, as usual, has done a glorious job making this a bright, happy place to check in, take a moment and get (even more) excited for your voyage!

The Atrium

Once you step aboard the ship, you’re greeted not only with applause but with the stunning atrium! This is home to the gorgeous grand staircase, guest services and numerous activities throughout your cruise.

Around the Ship

The Disney Fantasy has so many places to explore. Here are a few general areas to peruse as you get your sea legs. Then we’ll get into the more specific sections of the ship.

Recreation

While we’re outside, let’s take a look at the pools and recreation options on the Fantasy. New cruisers will be amazed at the plethora of options you have aboard. I know I was just in awe that all of this was available to us while floating the middle of the sea!!! From athletics to lounging to relaxing, there’s so much to choose from aboard ship.

Dining

Now that you’ve worked up a little hunger, let’s eat! Food is in no short supply aboard the Dream. You literally have food at your beck and call 24 hours a day. While you have access to included (not free, ’cause ain’t nothin’ free with Disney ;)) room service, here are the places you can bust face with your fellow passengers.

Adults Only

While Disney cruises may conjure up visions of children running wild through a big boat on the middle of the sea while Mickey tries to keep up, rest assured that there are several adults only areas on the ship from the gym and spa to outdoor spaces to clubs, restauraunts and lounges.

Vibe

This teens only club has its own private deck, as well as technology, movies, a smoothie and coffee bar and spaces to lounge. While initially skeptical, Stitchy really enjoyed meeting other kids at Vibe and still keeps in touch with many of them.

Characters

One of the most magical moments on Disney cruises include their world famous characters, and there are no shortage of meet and greets around the ship. Guests can also catch them in the Broadway-style shows, at the kids’ clubs and roaming the hallways and decks. You’ll notice that these experiences were socially distanced.

Entertainment

Speaking of shows, there’s no shortage of entertainment on the Fantasy. From live music in the lounges and atrium to first run movies and the magical musicals in the Walt Disney Theater!

More to come!

As mentioned, I was more in vaca mode than TA mode aboard ship, as it was the littles’ first cruise, but I promise to set sail again ASAP just to get you more visuals! I’m a giver that way. Of course, if you’d like to cruise the seas yourself, tap that button below, and let’s get started!
