Cape May Cafe
SOAK UP THE CHARM OF A NEW ENGLAND BEACH RETREAT WITH CHARACTER BREAKFAST, SEAFOOD-INSPIRED DINNER FAVORITES AND A CASUAL COASTAL ATMOSPHERE AT DISNEY’S BEACH CLUB RESORT.
Cape May Cafe is one of those Disney restaurants that can be easy to overlook, tucked just off the lobby at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. In the morning, Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast brings a fun, beachy character dining experience to the table, while dinner offers a New England-inspired buffet with plenty of coastal favorites. The restaurant’s open, airy design fits perfectly with its beach theme, with lots of natural light and a relaxed seaside feel. Because much of the dining room is open rather than enclosed, it can get a little noisy, but we love the bright atmosphere and casual vibe.
The Food
We’ve enjoyed breakfast at Cape May Cafe several times, and we’ve also had the chance to try the dinner buffet more recently. Breakfast is classic Disney buffet fare, with familiar favorites, a few rotating offerings and, of course, Mickey waffles. Honestly, that alone goes a long way toward making a Disney breakfast a win in my book.
Dinner’s Seafood-and-More buffet offers a nice variety, making it a great choice for groups with different tastes. It was a hit with everyone in our crew — from the middles to the big kids (who are now young adults) to the toddlers. And yes, the adults enjoyed it too.
We also appreciate the care the culinary team takes with guests who have dietary restrictions. As always, be sure to communicate your needs with Disney dining teams ahead of time, but Cape May Cafe is a great example of a restaurant where families with different dining needs can still enjoy a fun meal together.

Characters
Although Disney states characters are always subject to change, Cape May Cafe has been one of the most consistent restaurants in our experience with Minnie, Donald and Goofy partying it up each morning.
Cape May Cafe isn’t an “every trip” restaurant for us, but it’s one we’re always happy to come back to. The relaxed atmosphere, solid food and laid-back Beach Club setting make it an easy, enjoyable meal without feeling overly hectic.
Both breakfast and dinner are great options, whether you’re looking for a fun character meal to start your day or a hearty buffet after hours in the parks. We especially recommend Cape May Cafe if you’re staying in the Epcot resort area. Being just a short walk or boat ride from both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios makes it an incredibly convenient choice that often flies under the radar.
Because it tends to be overlooked in favor of some of Disney’s bigger-name restaurants, reservations can also be a little easier to come by. If you’re searching for a last-minute dining option, don’t sleep on Cape May Cafe. It just might become one of your family’s favorite hidden gems.
