Welcome back to another Disney Tip Tuesday, our (kinda) weekly bite-sized blog post offering up a fun tip for visiting your favorite Disney destinations. This week we dive into planning your dates with the Epcot festivals in mind.

The Epcot festivals are some of my absolute favorite reasons to visit Walt Disney World. With a festival almost every season of the year, chances are you’ll overlap one of them no matter you travel to the most magical place on Earth. If one of the festivals speaks to your personal interests, though, here’s a quick look at the festivals and when they take place.

International Festival of the Arts

  • Epcot’s newest and most colorful festival takes place from mid-January to late February.
  • The festival features artists and experiences from every genre of art – theatre, visual, musical and more!
  • Don’t forget to check out the food studios for artistic takes on a small plates.

International Flower and Garden Festival

  • Spring ushers in the magic of the earth with the flowers taking over late February to late May.
  • During this festival, you’ll marvel at beautiful topiaries, indulge in fresh bites at the outdoor kitchens and peruse magical gardens.
  • Be sure to check out the Garden Rocks concert series.

International Food and Wine Festival

  • This fan favorite festival is a fall staple in our home with the fun typically starting mid-late summer and lasting through November.
  • The Global Marketplaces are the star of this festival offering up delicious bites and sips from around the world.
  • Guests can also enjoy demos and the Eat to the Beat concert series.

International Festival of the Holidays

  • Epcot fans can end the year with holiday magic in November (just after the Food and Wine Fest ends) and December.
  • Holiday storyteller and cultural icons are dotted throughout the World Showcase immersing guests in their respective cultures, while Holiday Kitchens round out the international experience.
  • Gospel and Choral singing bring an extra layer of holiday cheer with the Joyful! celebration and celebrity narrated Candlelight Processional taking place daily.

Which festival is calling your name?
