Welcome back to another Disney Tip Tuesday, our (sometimes) weekly bite-sized blog post offering up a fun tip for visiting your favorite Disney destinations. This week, we’re telling you where to find free refills at Walt Disney World.
Staying hydrated at Walt Disney World is one of those boring little things that can make a huge difference in your day. Between the Florida heat, humidity and all the walking, it’s really easy to get caught up in the fun and realize three hours later that you haven’t had enough to drink.
Most people know that the Disney resorts offer refillable mugs a la carte or included with your dining plan. The resorts usually have a few spots for refills located in the food court or quick service, as well as near the pool areas.
These mugs aren’t refillable in the parks, but there are a few spots where you can get your refill fix for free.
Self-Serve Beverage Stations in the Parks
When I say self-serve, I mean the locations where you can walk up to the drink station and fill your own cup. Typically your cups will be filled and given from behind the counter, but there are a few spots that you can get your own and a few refills.
And while ice water is free at all quick-service locations, I love being able to fill my water bottle right at the self-serve station. You can grab ice and filtered water and be on your way. Just please don’t put your bottle directly on the dispenser spout. 😬 Hold it underneath without touching the spout so we can all keep things a little more sanitary. Same goes for the bottle fillers throughout the parks. And if you want to hit those up, here’s Disney’s official list.
Quick Service Spots with Self-serve
- Epcot: Connections Eatery, Regal Eagle (this water always hits just right!), Sunshine Seasons
- Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary, Backlot Express
- Animal Kingdom: Satu’li Canteen
And while not a true “free refill” spot, you can get your complimentary sugary carbonation on at Club Cool in Epcot.
So, yes, get your soda refill, but don’t overlook the water. A cold, full water bottle can make a very long park day a whole lot easier, and this is one of those little Disney tricks that costs you nothing extra. Hydration win. 🥤💦
