Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort brings laid-back island vibes to the heart of Walt Disney World. Colorful villages, swaying palm trees and white sand beaches create a relaxing atmosphere that feels a world away from the theme parks, while the Disney Skyliner makes getting around easier than ever. It’s a sprawling moderate resort that balances tropical charm with plenty of Disney magic.
Once upon a time, I was a teacher who had spent my entire summer in grad school and professional development workshops. With only two weeks of summer left, we decided to do the very reasonable thing and book a last-minute Disney trip… in July… in Florida. 😅
While on speakerphone with Disney Reservations, Stitchy heard the mention of the (now retired) pirate rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort from the back seat and immediately perked up. A few minutes later, our first stay at Caribbean Beach was officially booked!

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is made up of six colorful island villages: Trinidad North, Trinidad South, Martinique, Barbados, Aruba and Jamaica. Each village has its own tropical charm, creating a relaxed island atmosphere throughout the resort.
Guest rooms feature a Caribbean-inspired design and include family-friendly amenities like complimentary Wi-Fi, a beverage cooler, coffee maker, hairdryer, in-room safe and iron and ironing board.

- Standard Location – Views of the resort, lake, pool, woodlands or a courtyard
- Preferred Location – Closer to Old Port Royale or transportation; views of the resort, lake, pool, woodlands or a courtyard
- King Bed – One king bed only
Aside from the King Bed category, rooms will feature two queen beds. If a 5th guest is booked, a single pull-down bed is incuded.

Located in Old Port Royale, Calypso Trading Post is your go-to spot for Caribbean Beach Resort merchandise, Disney souvenirs and those little vacation essentials you forgot to pack. From sunscreen and snacks to last-minute necessities, it’s a convenient stop for anything you might need during your stay.

Dining
Old Port Royale is the heart of dining at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, offering the Centertown Market food court with full breakfast and dinner menus. For a more relaxed meal by the water, head to Banana Cabana, the resort’s poolside bar and grill.
For a table service experience, Sebastian’s Bistro brings Caribbean-inspired flavors to the resort. Guests can also enjoy pizza delivery from 4:00 PM to midnight for an easy in-room meal after a long park day.

Recreation & Activities
There are plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, from relaxing by one of the five leisure pools located throughout the villages to making a splash at Fuentes del Morro, the resort’s feature pool at Old Port Royale.
Families can enjoy a variety of activities, including fishing excursions from the marina, bike and surrey bike rentals, volleyball, jogging trails and a playground. The Goombay Games Arcade adds a little extra fun for kids, while nightly campfires and Movies Under the Stars create a classic Disney evening experience.

With more than 200 acres to explore, there is a lot to see at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort! The resort is spread across six villages, creating a spacious, tropical atmosphere with plenty of walking paths, beaches and quiet corners to enjoy.
